DEBBIE OSBORN is a collaborative pianist with over fifty years experience working in churches and schools with choirs, soloists, and ensembles. Mary Beth Bleak Thompson, her first piano teacher, taught her to follow a conductor and to read a lead sheet, two valuable skills that have served her well. Debbie began accompanying when she was thirteen years old. She holds a BM in Piano Performance from the University of Arizona. She studied piano with Mary Thompson, Alex Molnar, Dr. Rex Woods, Dr. Nino Bakradze, and Dr. Meily Mendez.
Debbie is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, Mama Dragons, and NAMI. She lives in Oro Valley with her husband Tony, with whom she has three children and one grandchild. When she isn’t practicing, she enjoys hiking, cycling, playing with her cats and dogs, and doting on her adorable grandchild.Â
